Tell us about yourself and your cycling or adventuring achievements.
I am South African and really enjoy outdoor activities. Since immigrating to the UK in 2011 and although I have always had a keen interest in cycling from a young age, I discovered UK mountain biking and have developed my skill set over the years.

I recently participated in some Enduro events on my full suspension mountain bike and look to further my racing experience in similar events.

What are your favorite things to do on the bike?
Generally just riding, being in the outdoors with the wind blowing across my face is the ultimate. However I mostly enjoy technical trails including roots, rocks and drops

Where is the most exciting place you’ve ridden your bike?
Rogate bike park, nothing too exiting but great place to have fun as well as tackling the tech that Rogate has to offer.

What is your goal in life, cycling or otherwise?
I would like to enter more Enduro races and or become a designer in the field.

Who are your sporting heroes?
Gregg Minnaar, as a South African, downhill racer is very inspiring, as well as Brendon Fairclough as he’s very stylish on the bike and can move those wheels!

Tell us about what you do at Spokes of Bagshot
Generally, I work in the workshop, servicing problematic bikes and helping as an assistant to the main mechanic however if you’d like a coffee or would like some advise on products we offer, I can do that for you!

What does being on the Spokes team mean to you?
I love working at Spokes, I’ve been really lucky to be part of a amazing family and efficient team, working with both staff and our regular customers. I continue to learn from the team, developing both my technical experience and interacting with customers for their satisfaction of the Spokes experience.

If you had one piece of advice for someone new to cycling what would it be?
When you fall, dust yourself off and get back on that bike and complete that challenge!
